Bahia Santa Maria

Description: Bahía Santa María is next to the Hotel Twin Dolphin. Look for the beach access sign Km 12 and follow the dirt road to the parking area. Note: There are two parking areas - the one to the left is $1 per hour for parking. The "free" parking is to the right. Both have security guards. If you are not spending the whole day we suggest paying for parking as you'll probably end up tiping the guard in the free lot and the pay parking is a lot closer - especially when you're carrying a cooler full of cervezas and all your beach gear.

Directions: Bahía Santa María is one of the best snorkling and swiming beaches in the Los Cabos area. It is a protected marine sanctuary with tons of friendly fish. There are no services at this secluded beach so you need to bring everything. (There are porta potties but bring your own toilet paper.) Bring plenty of sunscreen and an umbrella for shade and lots of ice cold beer. (Make sure you take all your trash out with you.) This is a great family beach.
